About the role
To support the Manufacturing Services Manager in;
- Leading and Developing the Maintenace Team.
- Preventative Maintenance of Manufacturing Equipment.
- Fault diagnosis and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
- Fault diagnosis and modification of PLC (Programmable Logic Control) programs
- General facility maintenance including electrical installations, pneumatics and plumbing
- Project work, support lean/Continuous Improvement activities
Compensation: $90,000-$110,000
Annual Broad-Based Bonus: 15%
What you will be doing
- Lead and develop the Maintenance Team members, develop team members, Assign and manage priorities.
- Preventative Maintenance: Create maintenance plans for new and existing equipment, follow preventative maintenance plans for equipment including Machining Centers, Special Purpose Machines, Automated Assembly, Heat treatment Lines, Presses and Cold Forming Machines.
- Fault Diagnosis and repair: Power Presses / Cold Forming Machines - electrical, mechanical, lubrication, pneumatic fault diagnosis and repair. Special Purpose Machines/Automation - mechanical, lubrication, pneumatic, PLC fault diagnosis and repair. Heat Treatment Plant, Machining Centers (Support Equipment Suppliers)
- General Facility Maintenance; General electrical installations, new equipment installations, Moving equipment into new locations, General maintenance of factory fittings, Pneumatic installations and repair, Plumbing (Not Gas) installation and repair.
- Project Work / Continuous Improvement: Take part and support using technical skill facility projects and continuous improvement activities
- General; Abide by Health and Safety Legislation and Southco HSE Policies, carry out any other duties reasonably requested by the Manufacturing Services Manager
How you will be making an impact
The role will provide impact via leading and developing the maintenance team, ensuring preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment, diagnosing and repairing faults, and managing priorities. It also involves general facility maintenance, project work, and supporting lean/continuous improvement activities.
About you
- Apprenticeship / Documented Training Program in Maintenance
- 17th Addition C&G Electrical Installations
- 4 years experience in a similar role preferred.
- Full Driving License
- Experience Omron and Mitsubishi PLC preferred
