About the role
This role is the HR administration backbone for the Odessa facility. It sits between a pure administrative HR admin function and a full HR generalist, focused heavily on HR systems accuracy, recruiting coordination, and employee relations documentation, while giving the HR Manager reliable day to day execution on the ground. The role works daily in SuccessFactors, Dayforce, and the manager facing SharePoint portal, and is often the first point of contact for Odessa employees and supervisors on routine HR matters.
What you will be doing
- Systems Administration: Maintain accurate employee data in SuccessFactors and Dayforce, process routine transactions, and support the manager SharePoint portal, including troubleshooting basic access or content issues for supervisors.
- Recruiting Administration: Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate logistics, conduct basic sourcing for hourly and entry level roles, and manage the day to day relationship with temporary staffing agencies supporting Odessa's hourly workforce.
- Employee Relations Administration: Maintain employee relations case files and documentation, track open items and follow up dates, and ensure filing is complete and compliant, working closely with the HR Manager on anything requiring judgment or escalation.
- General HR Administration: Process new hire paperwork, employee changes, and offboarding steps, respond to routine employee questions, and maintain compliance documentation for the facility.
- Client Facing Support: Serve as a responsive, professional first point of contact for Odessa employees and supervisors, building trust on the floor while knowing what to escalate and when.
How you will be making an impact
You will be the steady hand that keeps Odessa's HR systems, recruiting logistics, and employee relations documentation accurate and current, freeing the HR Manager to spend time where judgment and relationships matter most.
About you
- Two to four years of HR administration experience, ideally in a manufacturing or multi site environment.
- Exposure to recruiting administration, including interview scheduling, basic sourcing, and working with temporary staffing agencies.
- Exposure to employee relations filing and case administration.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the discipline to keep systems and files accurate under routine volume.
- Comfortable working directly with employees and supervisors in a client facing capacity, with good judgment about tone and escalation.
- Experience with SuccessFactors or Dayforce is a plus, though willingness and ability to learn HR systems quickly is what matters most.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework or an HR related certification is a plus.
