About the role

Responsible to prep parts (sand, wash, inspect for damage). Proficient in powder coating application.

What you will be doing

1.    Sand, wash, and inspect for damage all parts prior to paint.
2.    Perform quality checks, audits and inspections to ensure products are defect free.  Follow established process and procedures to achieve 0 quality defects.

3.    Follow standard work procedures before, during and at the end of the shift as defined by the department guidelines.
4.    Practice good housekeeping and 5S area. 
5.    Maintain all equipment and tools within the workstation as required by the preventative maintenance schedules.

6.   General instructions on routine work; detailed instructions on new assignments.
7.   No instruction on routine work; general instructions on new assignments.
8.   Instructions received as to results to be obtained and procedural guidelines provided
9.   Guidance received only as to broad objectives.
