The position leads and directs all Human Resource Development activities in the Americas in line with Global HRD Strategy. Responsible for managing the Americas team, deployment, recruitment, people development, change management and employee relations. Ensuring that at all times HRD will carry our it’s business to the highest professional level, supported by Southco’s cultural beliefs.
What you will be doing
Coaching – Acts as a leadership coach to the senior leadership team. Enabling the delivery of key business results while acting a gate keeper for our culture
Resource Management – Develops and delivers recruitment strategy that attracts the appropriate talent required to meet the needs of the business.
Policies & Procedures - Collaborates with division Human Resource leaders to provide direct support of Southco businesses in the design and development of employee policies, practices and procedures to provide effective, consistent and proactive strategies for employee stafffing, reward, recognition and personal development based upon company operating environment principles and sustaining high employee satisfaction.
Performance Management - Assures the effective implementation of the performance development review process/system at all locations. Provides training and coaching where required to support effective performance management across the region.
Development - Working with Corporate business training and development leaders, supports needs assessment activities, consults on tactical training processes and ensures that the appropriate training is available to develop employee skills at all levels required for competitiveness. Provides leadership development initiatives across the business as required.
Strategy Deployment – Works with the regional leadership team to s with business leaders to support the strategic direction for localization activities including establishing and implementing short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures.

About you
1. Bachelor’s Degree required
2. 7-10 years related experience with 4 years’ experience managing multi-location facilities
3. International Experience highly preferred
4. Ability to work and communicate at all levels of the organization.
