Mergers & Aquisitions Intern

Location: Concordville, PA

Duration: Summer Internship

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, hybrid working 

Reports to: VP, Strategy & Corporate Development

 
Position Overview: This internship will support the Strategy and Corporate Development team through in-depth research and analysis projects related to emerging technologies, potential acquisitions, and existing TouchPoint Inc. (TPI) portfolio companies. This role offers hands-on exposure to strategic decision-making, market analysis, and M&A-related research in a dynamic corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct industry and market research focused on emerging technologies and innovative companies (e.g., medical robotics, humanoid robotics).
  • Research and develop acquisition target company lists, including detailed profiles outlining:
    • Business performance
    • Key product lines
    • Market strategy
    • Identified key contacts and leadership teams
  • Support ongoing research needs for existing TPI companies to inform summer strategy sessions and leadership discussions.
  • Compile findings into clear, concise presentations and written summaries for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed to gather data and insights.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Senior Year Bachelor's or Graduate Level Required
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, corporate strategy, and mergers & acquisitions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
