About the role

The Assembly Support Operator, whose responsibilities include: stage parts for a new jobs, replenish all Kanban bins, return unused parts to stock, and perform all necessary transactions within the Business System.  Typical accountabilities, defined below, require the use of a forklift and JGL man-up, as well as material moving and put away transactions within SAP. 

Compensation: $19.00-$23.00

What you will be doing

  • Responsible for proper staging of parts for jobs by pulling required material from flow lanes,  RK3 and RK1 locations, packaging and  labeling correctly. Communicating all stock discrepancies and moving finished goods to shipping.
  • Maintain batch control for products and job quantity.  Verify and follow all Quality Documentation per Work Instructions ( WIASYA-01 and WIASYS-09).  Protect parts and finish from damage by careful handling.  Notify Supervisor or Team Coordinator of any equipment malfunction, quality deviation.
  • Utilizing forklift, JGL man-up or cart, the Operator will retrieve component and material inventory necessary to assemble parts.  Once retrieved, they will perform the necessary business system transaction required to requisition out the parts to a Production Staging Area (PSA).  The Operator will then bin the parts onto a cart and work to replenish assembly work centers.

About you

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Basic mechanical ability
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Ability to read and interprety quality documents and engineering drawings
