About the role

To audit the accuracy of the inventory records. 

Compensation: $23-$26

What you will be doing

  • Perform daily loaction audits.  Compare results of physical audit with Business system records to determine variance. Recount items with questionable variance.  Post all variances to correct inventory levels.  100% of locations should be counted annually.
  • Run LIFT Sync program and verify discrepancies weekly.  Perform audit of 16 LIFT trays per month.
  • Perform Annual audits of QA Cage and inventory held offsite.
  • Transact and physically dispose of obsolete, slow moving, and quality inventory on an as needed basis.
  • Monitor and action on items in 999 LOST on a daily basis.

About you

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Aptitude for problem solving and detail oriented
  • Able to learn to use scales, overhead crane and forklifts, and other material handling equipment
  • Able to learn to use the operating system as it pertains to material control
  • Able to interact with production personnel, as well as production planning
  • Good math skills
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Good understanding of Southco’s quality system
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Safety and Quality conscious
