About the role
This position objective is to guarantee the inventory accuracy through counts, audits, reconciliation analysis and adjusting physical inventory against book balances and recommend corrective actions to avoid future discrepancies.
Compensation: $27.00-$31.00
What you will be doing
- HF PE Power User - provide training and refresher training to associates on the booking process of supplied inventory within the business system.
- Analyze material transactions to determine cause of error and seek solutions to resolve errors, carry out investigations and propose solutions to ensure errors are avoidable in the future.
- Prepare inventory records for cycle count in a warehouse management environment. Locate and count items and Perform loaction audits. Compare results of physical audit with Business system records to determine variance. Post all variances to correct inventory levels. To include inventory held offsite. Perform recounts as required.

- Respond to ad-hoc requests on inventory accuracy including: Quarantine, Raw material, external supplied inventory, consignment, sub-contract and customer return stock.
- Actively participate within Continuous Improvement/Kaizen events especially relating to inventory/master data accuracy.
- Transact and physically dispose of obsolete, slow moving, and quality inventory on an as needed basis.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Finance Manager.
About you
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years experience in a warehouse environment which includes use of radio frequency device
- Aptitude for problem solving and detail oriented
- Able to learn to use the operating system as it pertains to material control
- Able to interact with production personnel, as well as production planning
- Good math skills
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Good understanding of Southco’s quality system
- Safety and Quality conscious
- Basic Excel skills
