Zinc Remelt Machine Operator- 1st shift

About the role

This position is primarily responsible for running and maintaining the Zinc Remelt sytem. Secondary operator responsibilities include producing quality components from a variety of secondary machinery.  

What you will be doing

  • Ability to run and maintain the Zinc Remelt system and run various machines in secondary areas.
  • The associate is responsible for the quality and quantity of products being manufactured in a team environment. Utilizes business system to document productivity and quality issues. 
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping practices (5S).
  • Perform duties as assigned by supervisor and flex to areas of constraint. Follow instruction from Set Up Operators on daily tasks.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery according to pre set schedule.
  • Ability to utilize databases to choose proper tooling.

About you

  • Ability to lift up to 33 lbs.
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficient with measuring devices
  • Safety and Quality conscious 
  • Able to read and interpret work instructions
